My Body of Tides poetry book

The client came to me with a collection of original poetry and photography and a clear vision for the finished book. My role was to translate that vision into a cohesive design—refining the format and typography and preparing the book for print. A cover mockup prepared by the client provided the initial inspiration. Working with the chosen photograph, I saw an opportunity to use the image and typography differently while staying true to her vision and the character of the book.
