You're a Mother Now memoir cover with a vintage family photograph

The design challenge was shaping a lengthy manuscript and photographs into a memoir about motherhood. Developed in collaboration with a publisher, the project included interior design, typesetting and final press-ready preparation. When drafting cover concepts, my first instinct was to feature the author herself. Reading the manuscript revealed that her six children were truly the heart of her story. The only photograph of all six children together offered a new direction, and ultimately became the cover the author chose.
