Nearly 250 handwritten recipe cards and family photographs became a cookbook designed to be used, shared and passed down. Conversations with the client revealed that “It’ll only take a minute!” was a phrase heard often in the kitchen. That small piece of family history inspired the book’s title, giving the project a voice immediately personal to the family. A layflat binding keeps recipes open on the counter, while a wipeable protective cover guards against spills and fingerprints—practical choices for a cookbook meant to be used.
