Ellie’s Light children’s book

With the manuscript, illustrations and sequence of spreads already established, my role was to integrate the text through typography and placement while preserving the illustrator’s visual storytelling. The supplied cover artwork presented challenges when translated to print. I identified where trim and binding would compromise the illustration, then refined the artwork for both case-bound hardcover and perfect-bound softcover production while preserving the illustrator’s original intent.
